We would like to thank everyone who came along to see Martha Tilston at Cove Village Hall. Also of course thanks to Martha and Matt for a great evening. We enjoyed doing a support spot for them (Martin and Celia – Foxwillow) and having them to stay. They really are lovely people. —- They very much enjoyed it too and keen to return! We won’t leave it 6 years next time! Thanks again for supporting live music on a dark and damp evening! Martin and Celia x

We had a wonderful sold evening with Phillip and Hannah. Amazing music and lovely people! We will certainly be booking them again. Thanks to everyone who came and added to the great evening.

They were voted best duo in 2014 at the BBC folk awards after being ‘discovered’ by Steve Knightly from ‘Show of Hands’. We have seen them a few times and they really are special. A very talented duo!
So tea and cake will be on sale as usual, and this time we are going to have a small bar with wines, beer and cider.
Unfortunately ‘Villages in Action’ has greatly reduced funding this year, so this is not a VIA event. Celia and I are putting this on ourselves.
If you haven’t been to one of our events before and perhaps have only seen the hall at polling day, be prepared for a pleasant shock at how cosy the hall can look!
The artists (Of which there have been quite a few now) always love the atmosphere —– and cakes!
